Mission

We want to provide a brief respite from these difficult and challenging times for those who choose to attend.

We want to hold space for communion & fellowship through Prince. He always encouraged us to have Love 4 One Another, through his words, actions, and music.

We want to celebrate Prince’s life and body of work, music as a sanctuary, and, of course, Diamonds and Pearls Super Deluxe! During the 2015 Grammy Awards, Prince declared, “Like books and Black lives, albums still matter!”

We want to create an environment that is safe, diverse, and inclusive for all. We are committed to providing a space that encourages open discussion and debate amongst people of all backgrounds. This includes, but is not limited to members of any race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, color, immigration status, social and economic class, educational level, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, size, family status, political belief, religion, and mental and physical ability. We ask that all #DPSDVC participants abide by our code of conduct.

Open discussion, debate, comments, and feedback!

Unacceptable behavior

Any actions or words that make any individual(s) feel uncomfortable or threatened. Examples of such behaviors include but are not limited to:

  • Repeated harassment of one or more individual(s)
  • Personal insults
  • Discriminatory jokes and language
  • Violent threats or language directed at one or more individual(s)
